Overview

Motor Vehicle Training provides Miami-Dade Tax Collector employees with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively process transactions related to vehicle registration, title work, decals, specialty plates, and other state-regulated services. This program ensures operational accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service.

Goal

The primary goal of this training is to ensure that employees are fully equipped to handle Motor Vehicle transactions with confidence, accuracy, and adherence to Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) standards.

• Handling exceptions, holds, stops, and compliance flags

• FRVIS system training, including workflow navigation and data accuracy

• Customer service best practices for high-volume MV transactions

• Fraud awareness, document authentication, and risk prevention
